The 1960’s and 70’s were a time when American farmers witnessed dramatic yield increases and the need to replace zinc-depleted soils became urgent. It was also a time of rapid growth for the liquid fertilizer industry. Nulex, Inc. answered the call in 1971 when they introduced Nulex Liquid Complex Zinc, a product that would mix easily with liquid fertilizer to correct zinc deficient soils. The product continues today as America’s best selling liquid zinc complex.

Nulex, Inc. continues to develop innovative zinc products that are more soluble, offer improved root absorption, and are easier to handle. We also develop improved delivery systems that more evenly distribute and place zinc as close to the root system as possible for maximum efficiency.

CENTRALLY LOCATED

Nulex, Inc. is located in the Port Neal industrial area just south of Sioux City, Iowa. The 40-acre site is adjacent to Interstate 29 with rail spurs running through the complex. The easy-access location allows Nulex, Inc. to offer all their products at competitive transportation rates via truck or rail.

QUALITY CONTROL

All Nulex products are subject to the highest testing standards during production. Our multi-million dollar research and testing laboratory runs continuous tests throughout the manufacturing cycle to ensure that every load of liquid zinc is “on-spec” and offers the same, superior handling characteristics.

FIELD TESTED

Nulex liquid zinc products have been field tested on millions of acres by generations of loyal customers throughout the United States.

Nulex products have also been tested by leading universities, including the University of Nebraska, Iowa State University and Kansas State University. All university tests have shown that adding Nulex Liquid Zinc in a liquid starter at planting time will increase yields.
